Trinity Lutheran Church near Cadillac

A small country church south of Cadillac,
Saskatchewan where a wedding had taken
place quite recently.

This building had formerly been the Fairy
Lake School that had closed in 1953. After
that time it was moved to the former Little
Six schoolyard, a school which had been
struck by lightning and burned to the
ground, and became Trinity Lutheran
Church.

Resurrection and rebirth!

Photographed on September 30, 2017.

  1. Love it! I love how it used to be a school, all they had to do was make the windows pointed and add a cross. Simple and functional and beautiful.

    1. I'm all for re-purposing buildings big and small.

  2. Been here too. I did not know the history behind it.
