Art on the Back Roads

All three of these original metal sculptures
are by the same artist, all of them were
found by chance and they are all some
miles apart.

The first two I found on a trip to
Montana this past spring.  The first of
those (titled "Speaks Eloquently") was
near Goldstone Lutheran Church and
the second (no title) was near Grainbelt
School.  The third sculpture (titled
"Obvious Contempt") I found over
four months later while driving south
from Maple Creek and west of Boggy
Springs Ranch.

This artist is having some fun...and
there may be more sculptures out
on the back roads.

Photographed on May 21, 2017 (Nos.1-6)
and September 28, 2017 (Nos.7-9).

    1. I meant to say I saw the last one NOT the first one.

  2. Neat! Always interesting to see odd things while travelling. If you are ever in Paynton, SK, the old United Church is now called the Salvation Art Gallery and there is lots of neat found object art and other reclaimed items.

    1. That sounds like a fun place, Jenn. This artist is definitely going out of their way to make a statement.
