A School with a View

There were two locations for Creston
School, both being northwest of
Dollard, Saskatchewan.  The first
location was used from 1927-1952
and the second from 1952-1964;
about five years ago commemorative
signs were placed at both sites.  As
the crow flies, the two locations are
about two and a half miles apart.

I believe the school building was
moved from the first location to the
second location where it still stands,
located just a few hundred feet from
the edge of a lovely coulee.  The
school still sports its original location
marker above the doorway.  Notice
that the school windows face away
from the coulee...wouldn't want the
students to be distracted during their
studies now, right?

    1. Thanks, Jenn. All I was expecting to find here was a sign...the school and the view were a pleasant surprise. Bonus!
