Over Seven Million Miles

My all-time favourite train design; the sleek
lines just seem to propel these locomotives
into the jet age that was the 1950s.

They are a permanent fixture of Riverside
Park in the downtown area of Medicine Hat,
Alberta.

Photographed on September 27, 2017.

  1. The last time I was in Medicine Hat (a few years ago on the way home from Manitoba), I took a detour and drove downtown. At the time I took a bunch of photos of old signs (neon and ghost signs). I would like to visit there again! It seems like it's always just a stop and never a stay.

    1. As a friend keeps reminding me, "you've gotta make time." That said, there are lots of things to see in and around town.
