Saint Mary's Anglican Church

Saint Mary's Anglican Church is located in the Village
of Empress, Alberta.  It is mostly original inside and out
and was designated a Municipal Historical Site in 2009.

Attached to a wall inside this little church was a short
written history.  You can see a photo of that written
history in the last photo of this set.

Photographed on July 17, 2017 except
Nos. 3 & 6 photographed on August 18, 2017.

  1. What a lovely little church! Before I saw the interior picture I was wondering how it might look with the very steep peaked roof! Love that chimney!

    1. Thanks, Jenn. It's a sweatheart for sure. There are four historical churches in Empress of which one is now a residence.
