Heritage Tree - Hargrave Plains Cottonwood

This Plains Cottonwood tree was planted on
September 22, 1888 and celebrated the birth of
Heather Hargrave Murray.  It is located in the
Riverside area of Medicine Hat, Alberta and is
all that is left of the former Hargrave home.

The Hargraves were well known pioneers in the area.

Just around the corner is Hargrave Park.  Photos of
