Saints Peter & Paul Church (Blumenfeld)

The Blumenfeld and District Heritage site is home to
Saints Peter and Paul Church & Cemetery, a Settlers
Memorial Cairn, an outdoor Stations of the Cross,
an outdoor altar and Our Sorrowful Mother Grotto.
This post will focus on photographs of
Saints Peter and Paul Church only.

I stepped out of the car on that February afternoon,
raised my camera towards the church to take the
first photograph and a little bird landed on my
hand just as I was pressing the shutter release.
My good day just got better. This could be a
reason why this rural area is named
The R.M. of Happyland.

There is online information available about this
historic site here:

Blumenfeld is located on the open prairie
southwest of Prelate, Saskatchewan and is visible
for many miles.  It is well worth a visit when
you are in the area and definitely falls into
the category of: "must see."

Photographed on February 20, 2017.
