Linacre School

Linacre School is located in the Fox Valley area of
Saskatchewan.  It was in School District
Number 1381 and had been formerly
known as Peace Valley School.

Information found on the Saskatchewan One Room
School Project site states that small school districts,
usually made up of a single one room school,  were
spaced every four to six miles apart.  The Dominion
Government had designated Sections 11 and 29 of
every township as school sections.

It was frosty and cool that morning in
the R.M. of Fox Valley.

Photographed on November 23, 2016.

    1. Thanks, Jenn. This is a favourite among the schools I've seen in the surrounding area.

  3. It looks a lot like the building where I started school in 1959. Nice to see someone documenting this history, so thanks DM Truman(aka my brother Michael)
